Scholastic Book Fair

In October the Scholastic Book Fair was in school and every child got a chance to look at the books that were on offer.This was a great way to offer a wider variety of texts to our children, encourage them to read for pleasure and develop their love for reading. We raised £1,288.40 in sales which is fantastic!  This not only shows how important you feel reading is but also how much our children love books.  We will receive 60% of the profits to spend on books from Scholastic which will be a great for our school.  We are hoping to use this money to set up a Reading Cafe in the future
