Secondly we used fair trade chocolate to make our own Rice Krispie cakes. It was really messy but were so excited to take them home and eat them.

Wants and Needs
22nd February 2019
As a class we discussed the difference between wants and needs. Everyone agreed that food, clothes, shelter, clean water and feeling safe were needs. We found out that some peoples needs are different to others. Most of the class would like a dog as a pet but a blind person may need a dog to live independently.
We worked in groups to sort pictures and decide which ones were a want and which ones were a need. Then we made posters to show our own wants and needs.
Going for Goals

We tried three different ways of learning. Seeing-this was through demonstration. Hearing-this was through spoken instructions. Doing– this was through trial and error.
We all took a turn to try the three ways of learning. Then we discussed which way we found easier to complete the task.
Everyone decided that they learn better by using all three different ways together.
