Article 19: You have the right to be protected from being hurt, in body or mind.
Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible.
Article 39: You have the right to help if you have been hurt.
This morning, Helen Dent (Oscars Mam) came in and taught us all about First Aid.
We have learned lots, first we learned how to call 999 if we needed help.
Then we talked about DR ABC, he tells us what to do if we think someone is hurt.
Next Helen showed us how to put our friends and family into the recovery position.
Lastly, Helen very kindly demonstrated what to do it we fell over, had a nose bleed or needed an icepack!
Learning about our Rights!
Article 1: Everyone under 18 has these rights.
We started a discussion about Ronnie the Rights Respecting Rhino. We talked about what Rights we see in school and identified how those are met. We liked learning about how our school provides equal opportunities for all children to have their Rights met.
