More and more young people are turning to online games and activities to keep themselves occupied.
In school we teach the children how to stay safe online and what to do if something upsets them or they feel uncomfortable by what they have seen or heard. We have a page on our website with advice about online safety.
The National Online Safety website produces parent guides on the latest games and apps. They detail what you may need to know about the app/game and they offer advice on how to keep your children safe whilst they are using them too.
They also have guides on streaming and how certain apps and mobile phones are able to track an individual’s location.
Follow the link below and either scroll down to find a guide or use the search bar at the top of the page to locate a particular app or game guide.

The NSPCC website also has some great ideas about how to start a conversation with your child about online safety.
