You may remember the ‘Invent a Sausage’ competition at half term. I am delighted to announce that Holly in Year 5 invented the winning sausage over the whole of the North East. Her sausage was The Christmas Banger.
Holly thought her sausage was best because “lots of people like Christmas dinner and sausages so how about a Christmas sausage called a Christmas Banger”. Holly’s invention has won £300 for school and the sausage will be served as choice on the school dinner menu next Wednesday.
Holly also gets 80 links of her invention to share with her family. We are going to use the £300 to buy wet lunchtime equipment for the children.
