Year 6 children shared their knowledge of slavery with Year 1. Year 1 children taught Year 6 everything they had learned about Rosa Parks and equality.
They then joined together and protested against slavery.
We have a right to be protected from type of exploitation. (Article 36)
The Zong
We have been researching about was the mass killing of approximately 132 African slaves by the crew of the British slave ship the Zong. We then used charcoal to draw some fantastic pictures of the slave ship to be displayed in our classroom.
