Mindfulness

Jennie from One Day visited school today to work with each class. She talked about mindfulness and how we can manage our emotions. We learnt how to control our breathing and think before we react to situations we may find difficult.

World Book Day

To celebrate world book day we all came into school in costumes of our favourite book character. We spent the morning taking part in lots of fun activities about reading and books. We created our own finger puppets, designed a book cover, made bunting, completed word searches and shared some of our favourite books with our friends.

Christmas Crafts

We have enjoyed making a Christmas tree card by threading string, a calendar made out of buttons and a snowman bag!

Christmas Party

Today it was our Christmas Party! We loved dancing, playing pass the parcel, musical statues and pass the ball games. We had a hot dog, crisps and a cup cake. We were given a gift at the end of our party!

Christmas Jumper Day

Today we wore our Christmas Jumpers and ate a delicious Christmas Dinner!

Northumbrian Water
October 2018
Northumbrian water visited school to talk about keeping safe. They explained what each sign meant and that we must stay away from building sites. Mr Brentnall and Miss Clifford dressed up in safety clothes. Some children were given certificates for designing wildlife posters to go on the barriers where work will take place near to school.
