Warburton’s
24th June 2019
As part of our learning challenge ‘How can 5 a day keep me healthy?’ Gail from Warburton’s visited our class to talk about healthy eating. She showed us a power point about the Eatwell Guide then talked about each food group and what we should include in our diet.
Gail explained how important it is to wash our hands before handling food. Then she gave us hairnets and aprons to protect the food from germs. We chose our favourite fillings these included: cheese, cucumber, sweetcorn, ham, lettuce, carrots, chicken and onion. Finally we made our sandwich with a Warburton’s bun. It was delicious!
