Chris Tomlinson visit – January 2015

Olympic long jumper Chris Tomlinson visited our school to take fitness sessions with all classes. The event was put on as part of the Sports for Schools programme and the children raised more than £2,000. Some of this money will be used to buy sports equipment for the school.
Afterwards Chris gave pupils a motivational assembly about his career and the sport. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and we hope to do this again because of its success.
Chris Tomlinson, the Olympic athlete, visited us and helped us with our sports skills. He also gave us an inspirational speech. It encouraged us to follow our dreams.
