As part of work in school to improve on scientific knowledge and investigational skills, the children have taken part in two exciting workshops,
On 3rd October Junior Evolve Science delivered workshops to Year 5 and Year 6. This was part of the STEM project and was delivered by Northumbria University. It was Lego Science where the children had to build and control a robot! The children absolutely loved the challenge.
On 17th October The Magical Science Roadshow was held in school. Every class participated and the ‘magical science’ really captivated the children’s interest and enthusiasm.
Both events have certainly helped to give Science the ‘WOW’ factor for our children as we build on the positive impact of this through our curriculum.
