Mega Motion – Mega Movie Stars’ walk
Recently pupils at schools across South Durham took part in a competition to tell us what their perfect MEGA Friday walk to school would be like. There were lots of entries, and Mega Motion were happy to announce that a pupil at Escomb Primary School were one of the lucky winners!! Kate was the proud winner of the ‘Mega Movie Stars’ walk. Kate drew a brilliant picture of Bob the famous director, directing a movie while waiting for the bus. Well done Kate, you did it!

Botswana visit – Connecting Classrooms
Mrs Gill was invited to Botswana to establish our new partnership with Letsolathebe Memorial School in the town of Maun. As our partnership with Tanzania has been so successful, we were asked by the British Council Connecting Classrooms team to establish a three way partnership with ourselves, Tanzania and Botswana. On 20th May our group of Bishop Auckland Headteachers involved in the project travelled to Botswana and worked in our partner schools over the half term holiday. The schools shared their wealth of culture through song, dance and drama.
